Gold fever meets a love intrigue: In the saloon “Polka,” the gold miners gather — and Minnie, alongside the gold itself, is their greatest treasure. When Dick Johnson appears in her life, she falls in love with him instantly, unaware of his true identity: he is, in fact, the outlaw Ramerrez, who, together with his gang, plans to steal the gold Minnie is guarding.
